The Story Behind Jackson's Wish

When approached by wish-granting organization in 2018,  Jackson requested a large steel cross to be placed alongside the interstate in his home town for people to be reminded of the Lord’s faithfulness and encourage people through life's difficulties. 

This cross will be placed alongside interstate 65 at exit 101 in Evergreen, AL and will stand 120 ft. tall. Jackson designated the place for the cross on privately owned, family land where he spent most of his time hunting or helping run the family business.
